I come from a family of creatives, from designers to dancers. But my path was different: I pursued science and technology. I've always wanted to bring together both analytical and creative aspects of my life, my "left brain" and my "right brain." My Master's in Engineering focused on distributed computing and artificial intelligence, and my creative outlets are UX design and writing. In both my career as a software creative and the lives of my family and friends as "traditional" creatives, I've seen up close the difficult challenge of balancing art and commerce, creative purpose and business goals.
